The fine print
Accessibility
A website should open its door to everyone, the same way a good crew does. This page explains the adjustments built into ours and where to tell us when one of them falls short.
Your device's settings
There is no separate accessibility panel on this site. The settings on your phone, tablet or computer reach every page directly, so you set them once and they work everywhere, not only here.
- Larger text: use your browser's zoom or the text-size setting on your device. Everything on this site scales with it.
- Higher contrast: turn on "Increase contrast" or a high-contrast theme on your device, and the site switches to darker text and sharper link colouring when it is asked to.
- Less motion: turn on "Reduce motion" and the scroll reveals and hover movement stop.
What the site does without being asked
The build aims at WCAG 2.1 AA as its working standard. No auditor has certified that and we will not pretend otherwise; what follows is simply what we built and checked ourselves:
- A device-level reduced-motion preference is respected automatically: sections arrive already visible and transitions collapse to nothing.
- Colour pairings across the paper, green and rust surfaces were picked with contrast in mind.
- Phones, tablets and desktops each get a layout that fits, with nothing pushed out of reach at any width.
- Photographs that carry meaning describe themselves in alt text; ornamental graphics are hidden from assistive tech so they stay silent.
- Heading order and landmark structure follow the page's real shape, and every page opens with a skip-to-content link.
- Tab order runs the way the eye does, focus is always visible, and the Two Doors planner is ordinary radio buttons underneath, so a keyboard drives it as well as a mouse.
Found a rough edge?
Then we owe you a fix. Describe what went wrong through the enquiry form, note that it is about the website, and it lands with the person who can repair it.
